School Night For Scouting
School Night For Scouting is our annual signup night for Scouting. It is our first Pack Meeting of the school year and is usually held the 2nd week of September.
We ask that new Scouts and a parent come 30 minutes earlier (6:00pm) than our Pack Meeting to take care of signup paperwork required of us by Council. We have a $15 registration fee to difray the Council signup charges for new or transferring Scouts.
After signup, we have a regular Pack Meeting which usually lasts about an hour. We review outings and camping experiences the Scouts have had over the Summer and disperse information on the upcoming Scout year including activities planned and dates they will be held. It also is a great chance to meet some new friends and get introduced to any new Scout Leaders in the Pack.
A “Class A” uniform is not required for this Meeting - your Den Leader will let you know the requirements for this year’s uniform for your Scout.
