Blue & Gold Banquet
The Blue & Gold Banquet is one of the highlights of the Scouting year. It not only celebrates Scouting’s Birthday, but it also brings together families for a dinner and an evening of fun. The B&G is a potluck dinner and is open to all family members. The B&G takes the place of our regular February Pack Meeting.
Each year a new “theme” is selected by the Pack Leaders with the Pack providing the ‘main course” of the meal and each Den providing side dishes, condiments, or drinks to the meal. Your Den Leader will let you know what you are responsible for.
Along with dinner, there will be the usual Pack events and updates, skits put on by the Scouts and a few surprise events as well!
The theme for Blue & Gold 2010 is “100 Years of Scouting-The Scout Centennial!”
When: Thursday, February 11 2010 6:30pm
Where: Holy Spirit School Cafeteria
Traditionally, this is a “formal” event, with Scouts and leaders in Class A uniform and Parents dressed to help compliment, recognize and honor thier Scout’s acheivement and dedication!
